Beastly Mage
9-Naruto Uzumaki (Four Tails)
Coming in at #9, we have another Reinforcement that
made an entrance this year: Naruto in his Four-Tail
version. This version of Naruto requires a bit of a
build up to come in. First a Genin version that is
discarded when you have three or more Chakra, then
two more that have an effect that makes both players
move the top three cards from their decks to their
Chakra Area. After the last "Human" version is
discarded, this guy comes in when you have ten or
more Chakra. That's when the fun starts. His Combat
in both positions is equivalent to how many cards
are in your Chakra Area. This means he'll come in
with at least 10/0. In the right deck, this stat has
been known to go up to twice that. The second effect
(and, by the way, both are Valid) allows you to give
one damage to all other Ninjas in play whose
Entrance Cost is less than the amount of cards in
your Chakra Area at the end of your turn. So, you're
effectively cleaning out the field one hit at a
time. Granted, he has no protection effect, but if
you manage to keep him and your Chakra protected
you're set for a win. When players started to make
this Deck Water was in for a fight. This sort of
deck suffers against Chakra Control. A great card,
though only good in his own deck.
Ratings:
Limited: 1/5 (it requires cards from the previous
set)
Unlimited: 2.5/5 (pretty strong, though it might
suffer here)
Block: 3.5/5 (in his own deck he's a Monster)
