Beastly Mage
Baneful Gaze
Some of you may be asking yourselves what this card
is good for. It's a Super Rare that lets you put in
play Ninjas that are T6 or higher, yet it's a T1.
The reason for this card is simple: it lets you put
in play Tailed Beasts and the Sannin Summons
quickly. Think about this: all Tailed Beast Ninjas,
as well as Gamabunta, Katsuyu, and Manda are high
turn Ninjas. Normally you could put one, maybe two
into one deck. This card lets you play more of those
Ninjas. I have seen this sort of deck in action, and
it relies on more than just this card. Note that the
card's effect lets you flip the top card, and put it
in play if it's a T6 or more Ninja. If it doesn't
match that requirement then you move it to the
bottom of your deck. Not only does it help you with
the big Ninjas, but it also lets you speed up your
deck a bit. At the end of the turn, the Ninja that
was summoned is moved to your hand. That lets you
have it ready for later.
Today we have an interesting card that lets you play
a risky sort of deck. For a Lightning chakra,
Baneful Gaze lets you reveal the top card of your
deck and if the revealed card is a turn 6 or higher
ninja, you can put it in play for the turn. Then at
the end of that tun, the ninja put in play returns
to your hand. If you didn't reveal a playable ninja
by this effect it just goes to the bottom of your
deck. Also you have to wait 1 turn to have this
card's effect activate because the effect must be
activated at the start of your turn. If you get a
ninja with this effect often you should be winning
battle rewards or getting outstanding victories
quickly. Try it and see!
