Beastly Mage
The Third Hokage (Younger Days)
This version of Grandpa Third can be useful. When
he's put in play you put three -1/-1 coins on him.
He's a turn 3 with 6/4 printed, so he'd be a 3/1. He
can remove one of the coins if he uses a Jutsu. In
that case, the coin is moved to an opponent's Ninja.
If played right he can become a 6/4 quickly, and
he's also got Growth. Only downside (at least in
Unlimited) is that he has no rank. Still, the coin
moving can help (you'll see why).

DIMHWT
We have for you today the youthful version of the
third hokage, from set 21.
The third hokage is a fire/earth ninja with mental
2, 6/4 4/2 -1/-1 coin support ninja card. Upon
entry, The third gives himself three -1/-1 coins
(taking him down to a 3/2 1/-1) but when any ninja u
control uses a jutsu card, you may put one of those
coins on an opponents ninja.
Fire-currently, the coin theme for fire looks to be
a strictly for fun deck, but a lot of pieces are out
there to make some pretty solid builds. if the coin
theme is for you, then so is this third hokage.
Earth-Zetsu has a strangle-hold on this turn in
competitive decks, so the thirds second element
looks to be just for show.
Splash-taking a ninja down 1 point is cool, but very
rarely will it be a more useful option than another
turn 3 ninja of your decks element.
The third hokage is not a card that has stand alone
strength, which is important competitively. What the
thid hokage does have however, is a very good system
effect that can contribute a great deal, and after
his effect has triggered out you have a 6/4 ninja,
making him overstated for his turn (but not really)
Limited: 2/5 (mid game card that has to trigger
multiple times to have real stats)

Fire: 3/5
Earth: 1/5
Splash: 1/5
