I'd like to start by
saying happy Canada Day (yesterday) to all
Canadians, like myself, and happy Independence Day
to all the Americans! I've so far been having a
good summer, free of the nasty summer school and
such. Relaxing is underrated...
So anyway, on to Robot
Noil.
Stats:
Based on stats alone,
this is a fairly good equipment card, giving +3 to
every arena. Now, +3 may not seem like a lot in
one arena alone, but for something that is
consistent, like Robot Noil, it really is a plus.
You're basically guaranteed +3 wherever your
Neopet or Hero may be. This is also a Petpet, so
it fits into those uber powerful Petpet decks. It
is an equipment, so you can only play it during
your turn, and not during a contest (as opposed to
an Item). As well, it is a Bank for 2, which some
may consider below average. That is good, though,
since it can easily work with Retribution. Most
people prefer taking small steps to victory,
anyway.
Ah yes. One last
thing. This is one of few Equipment cards that
does not have a Faerie element designated to it.
That basically means you can tap any Neopet, and
equip it to anything (except for Villains, of
course).
Effects:
It's first effect is
standard for most equipment cards, and that is to
tap one of your Neopets to play it. It's other
effect is what sinks it. When you lose a contest,
you return this card to your hand. Although +3 is
good, it is not titanic. So if your opponent
decides to start ganging up on you by moving their
Poogle Racer over, chances are you'll be returning
this card to your hand. If you want to equip it
again, you're going to have to tap another one of
your Neopets. However, this can actually work to
your benefit if you equip it to a Hero and you
might lose. Chances are, though, that you won't be
playing a Hero where it's going to lose. Their
prime reason for them being in the game is a quick
smack for a bank or draw. So it will be discarded,
most likely, if you play it that way. I can't see
where this effect would be all that advantageous,
really.
Uses:
The only place I could
see a use for this card is in Petpet decks using
Kacheek Shepperd. However, there are better cards,
such as the Zombie Moltenore (exact same, but +4
to all arenas, and you have to tap a Dark Neopet)
that do the same thing.
Rating:
2/5 - The bonus is
nice, as +3 can be quite helpful, especially how
it's in all arenas. However, the fact that it
returns to your hand if your Neopet or Hero loses
a contest is not all that great. As well, because
of the fact that it is a Petpet, its rating
already plumets. Ratings shouldn't be comparative
to other cards, but it's hard not to with this.
There are so many other Petpets that are much
better. Spots in your deck are limited, and this
one just doesn't make the cut.

Hey guys, sorry about
the long absence, but its summer now and im ready
to reivew.
This is a very
interesting petpet. If you loose with a Neopet or
Hero, you get it back. This effect is great, if
you mess up "woops, i didnt mean to do that, wait,
ill take it back." Thats always a good thing. Now
to pros and cons
Pros+
+3 for all stats
+Good effect
+ any type can use it
+great for newer
players
Cons-
-This would be better
if that that +3 was a 4 or higher
I give this an overall
rating of 3.5/5 most decks can find a place for
this card.
