The mall tour is
coming up, and, were it to come anywhere remotely
close to me, I would attend it. However, living in
Canada means that I am left out.
But I hope anyone who attends (including Deke) has a
delightful time at it.
Now for the review...
Starry Cybunny
Neopet | Experienced Cybunny | Earth
Strength 2 | Agility 7 | Magic 10 | Intelligence 8
"When this Neopet wins a contest that isn't against
a Villain, untap each of your Neopets and Heroes in
the contest."
This is a card that will *probably* see play in the
mall tour. How playable is it, though? Do Cybunny
decks have a chance if they run this card? Let's
see...
Advantage F/H: This Neopet will give extreme field
advantage if its effect goes off. It will give you
at least one more card to tap even after winning a
contest with it. This is an excellent card to mix
with an Equipment deck, or a Petpet deck, as it will
give you the chance to equip another card to Cybunny
each turn. Add Kacheek Sheppard to the fray, and
you're drawing another card each turn, without using
any "cheap" comboes.
9/10
Best Draw for the Situation: Experienced Neopets in
a well built deck will
always be welcomed. Why wouldn't you want to draw
this to replace that
weaker Cybunny? It will give you an extra kick of
field advantage, and
Experienced Neopets are better than the Basics. The
only time you wouldn't
want this is in the opening draw, if you don't pull
a Cybunny, or if your
first three Basic Neopets are other types.
8/10
Attributes/Effect: I wonder why Cybunnies don't have
a better Strength stat.
They seem like humungous bunnies to me, and a
humungous bunny should be
fairly strong. Not the case. However, you want to
play this in the Magic
arena, or quite possibly the Intelligence or Agility
arenas. Use an
equipment card, though, as its stats are fairly
weak. The effect, however,
is quite game-breaking. You're able to use an extra
Something Has Happened,
Equip, summon another Villain or Hero, or many other
things requiring taps.
9/10
Dependability: Like usual, this rating will be
slightly lower. Its effect
depends on many other things: support from other
Neopets or Heroes to win
the contest, equips, hoping your opponent doesn't
roll a 6, etc. If the
stats were higher, its rating here would be much
better, as you wouldn't
have to depend so much on other things. Then,
however, it would be kind of
broken.
7.5/10
A BAD score: 33.5/40 = 8.375/10
This is quite a solid card, and a perfect choice for
many different decks. I
personally think this card deserves a bit of
recognition, as it is quite
good.

Starry Cybunny
Neopet | Experienced Cybunny
| Earth
Strength 2 | Agility 7 |
Magic 10 | Intelligence 8

Neopets and Heroes in the
contest.
18/100 RoDS HoloFoil
Here's yet another card from
the Dr. Sloth set that
allows you to untap Neopets
and Heroes, giving you a
tactical advantage to be
able to play more equips/SHH,
reposition your pets, or use
effects on the pets
themselves.
None of Starry Cybunny's
stats are great in
themselves. Actually, most
of them are pretty weak for
an experienced pet. But, to
maximize the effect, you'll
probably have two pets in
the arena anyway, and a
boost of 7, 8 or 10 is
nothing to be ashamed of.
This particular pet will
probably mostly get used
with Air/Earth combo decks,
that maximize the untap and
movement abilities that Air
can provide. Built right,
it could be a very quick
deck. Another good card to
use it with is Poogle Racer,
as once it's untapped, it
can move on to another
arena.
Ratings:
It's a good card,
although I can't say I
see it being used to
much in the near
future. I'll still give
it a 4.0 out of 5.
