Bank: 2
Today we have something that may or may not help to
get Experienced Neopets out of your deck! It is also
a Paintbrush, which means that it sells for upwards
or 250,000 NP on the actual site. That is more of a
side-note than anything. So, moving along to the
review. Is this a Paintbrush that you should add to
your deck? Let's see...
Advantage F/H: This thins a deck greatly, and can
even help your hand, and eventually the field. So
you look at the top 4 cards. Usually, you'll have 1
Experienced Neopet if you're lucky. The other three
go to the discard pile.
Your Experienced Neopet helps your hand, and then
helps your field. As well, it has just thinned your
deck by four cards. This is quite a solid advantage.
Unfortunately, you could dump a card that is needed.
Still...
8/10
Best Draw for the Situation: I would love to draw
this card at almost any point in the game. Early in
the game, it helps give you the upper hand by giving
you that Experienced Neopet you need. Mid game, you
can still put it to use the same way. Late game, it
loses some points, because you may deck yourself if
you're that far in.
8/10
Attributes/Effect: Definitely not the Item to be
using in a contest. The bank is below average at 2,
but the effect makes up for that. Thinning your deck
and possibly adding an Experienced Neopet to your
hand is a great effect. If there were more
recursion, it would be even better.
8.5/10
Dependability: In most decks, there are usually
anywhere from 6-10 Experienced Neopets. That means
it's not exactly the most dependable thing to grab
an Experienced Neopet from your deck. That drops the
effectiveness and dependability of this card down
slightly. However, it will always dependably drop
four cards from your deck.
7.5/10
A BAD Score: 32/40 = 8/10
Bottom Line: If you're using any Experienced Neopets,
add a couple of these in your deck. It is quite a
decent card, and I could see it getting played,
possibly even abused.

Although this paint brush
has some major potential,
it's so risky I doubt that
it'll see much of anything
aside from the pages of a
collector's book.
However, there are a few
ways to play this card to
your advantage. First,
obviously, if you get the
chance to look at the top
few cards of your deck, you
can clue yourself in to when
the best time to play it
would be. Second, you can
use cards like Rainbow Paint
Brush or Darigan Paint Brush
to guarantee at least one
Experienced pet. Thirdly,
you can use this in a
recycling deck, usually
based around Kauvara's
Potion and Scroll of Recall,
to bring back any important
cards that hit the discard
pile.
Ratings:
It's a bit risky, but
there are a few good
ways to use this card.
