12 "To play this, you need a Dark Neopet.
When a Hero starts a contest in an arena without a
Villain, if this card is in your hand, you may put
it into that arena. If you do, the contest continues
against this Villain instead.
This Villain gets +5 to all stats in contests
against Heroes.
When this Villain loses a contest, untap all its
rivals."

This Villain gets an incredibly long effect, one
that is quite similar to Space Faerie. Like our
Faerie friend, you can perform an "Ylana-Hero Drop"
if your opponent begins a contest with a Hero. Is
this one good enough to make the cut? Let's see.
Advantage F/H: At first glance, this seems as though
it would give incredible field advantage, as you can
drop it easily with no fuss if a Hero begins a
contest. However, this will rarely be an asset to
any deck, as it will be a rare occurence to have
this in hand while your opponent begins a contest
with a Hero. It isn't the best to rely on your
opponent's deck.
However, this is the best Villain against Malevolent
Sentient Poogle Plushie. As well, all rivals untap
when this is beaten. That drags down its rating
intensely.
1.5/10
Best Draw for the Situation: I can't think of a time
when it would be great to draw this thing, as your
opponent's Hero will only be in an arena on your
opponent's turn. As well, it is going to be in that
arena with a Neopet.
It's really just luck if you have this in your hand
when your opponent brings out a Hero. And this is
only all that good of a Villain when you utilize its
"Ylana-Hero Drop".
3/10
Attributes/Effect: First, its original stats are
17/17/12/12, and it is a Dark Villain. The Dark type
has quite a lot of support in Equipment, SHH,
Experienced Neopets, Heroes and Villains. Now we can
look at her effects.
Well, no tap needed to drop this into an arena; only
a Dark Neopet. Next, we get to the only reason worth
playing this; what I have dubbed the infamous "Ylana-Hero
Drop". When your opponent's Hero starts a contest,
you can drop this thing. To add to that, your
Ylana's stats increase to 22/22/17/17 when she is up
against a Hero. Sounds great, right? I personally
don't think it is all that great. At least, it isn't
really good enough to overcome the fact that her
rivals untap when she's beaten.
5/10
Dependability: You can't really depend on the "Ylana-Hero
Drop", except for a surprise factor. I just can't
get by the rival untapping, really. If Ylana's stats
were 5 higher, in addition to the +5 effect, then
this would be quite suitable. However...You're not
locking an arena very efficiently, which is what
Villains are meant to do.
3/10
A BAD Score: 12.5/40 = 3.125/10
Well, there you have it. Ylana Skyfire is not
exactly the best Villain to choose in your deck.
Personally, I would prefer to use Shadow Usul over
this, or even Dr. Sloth. However, it might be worth
testing her out. I'm sure that there are loads of
neat combos you can try.

20/100 RoDS HoloFoil
This Villain can come in
handy as a surprise defense
against a Hero. Aside from
that, it's pretty much
useless. Not only does it
not have any stats above 20
unless against heroes, but
it also has that dreaded
phrase "untap all its
rivals".
Ratings:
This Villain may stall
an opponent for a short
time, but it would be
wise to note that Dark
has many better Villains
that would serve almost
any deck better.
