"Before you roll for a contest this Neopet is in,
you may have it use the stat of one of its rivals
instead of its own. (The stat includes everything
except Item bonuses and the die roll.)"
A very interesting effect to add to Light's arsenal.
First off, this is an Experienced Techo, which means
that it will prosper from stat-increases meant only
for Neopets, such as Techo Master's boost
(interestingly enough, also a Techo). It's stats are
very medichre. Having 9 in every single arena,
however, gives it incredible versatility. But the
fun doesn't stop there!
If your Techo Adept is up against any other Neopet
with a higher stat than it, you can choose to use
the stat of it. This allows it even more
versatility, to the point where it can have 13, 14,
or even 15 in every single arena. If you're up
against a tough opponent, such as a beefed-up Draik
Soldier, then bring this little guy out, and
instantly you have an equally beefed-up Techo Adept.
Have a weakness in Magic? Send out Techo Adept.
Intelligence? The Techo's the best! Agility? Boy,
he's fast when he wants to be.
Rating: Essentially, the Techo Adept can have
whatever stat he wants, and can be good in whatever
arena he wants to be good in. When you're up against
more than one Neopet in an arena, he'll need help
though.
