All right! Now we’re going to review a card I
requested to review, Neopet v2!
Neopet v2 has the dreaded untap reward and 0
stats in Strength, Agility, and Magic as well as
an effect that might do more harm than good, but
it surely makes up for it with having the
highest Intelligence stat ever.
Rating: 3/5 This card has an insane Intelligence
stat, but that’s practically the only good thing
with this card. This guy should only be used in
the Intelligence Arana and if you can’t use Dr.
Sloth.

Neopet v2
Villain | Game | Fire
Strength 0 | Agility 0 |
Magic 0 | Intelligence
25
To play this, you need a
Fire Neopet. At the end
of each contest in any
other arena, if a player
rolled a 1 in the
contest, he or she
chooses one of his or
her Neopets in the
contest and moves it to
this arena. When this
Villain loses a contest,
untap all its rivals.
(This card doesn't count
as a Neopet.)
34/100 RoDS Rare
This week, we're going
back in time to visit
some Villains from past
sets that we haven't
reviewed before. We
start with one of the
most popular Villains
from Return of Dr. Sloth
(aside from that wily
Sloth himself, of
course...).
Neopet v2 is an
interesting Villain in
the fact that it can
randomly move pets to
the arena that it is in.
Not only that, but it
also has a staggering 25
points in Intelligence.
25 is currently the
highest base stat of any
card in any arena,
shared only with Fyora
in Magic.
Although this card does
untap rivals, it is
likely that your
opponent will need to
waste some time getting
extra pets to the
intelligence arena in
order to defeat Neopet
v2. Of course, if
they're patient enough,
they might be able to do
it freely by the roll of
the die ;)
Ratings:
Before the release of
Tura-Kepek in Mystery
Island, Neopet v2 was
the best option for a
Fire Villain in
Intelligence. However,
because Tura-Kepek is
far superior in effect
and reward, Neopet v2's
rating has dropped down
to a 2.8 of 5. It got
bonus points just for
being nifty ;)

Return of Dr. Sloth 34/100 Rare
Rating: 2.2
Welcome to Villain Week, Retro Style! We're looking
back at a very volatile Villain from the Return of
Dr. Sloth set. This card was the kcikoff to a major
Dr. Sloth plot on Neopets.com a few years ago, and
it's still causing mayhem. Yes, it's that
consternating computer game, Neopet v2!
The Neopet v2 is not only the most powerful Villain
in the intelligence arena, it has the higest stat in
the game out of any arena! With a 25 in
Intelligence, it's sometimes easy to overlook the
fact that it doesn't have a stat in any other arena.
This can make it an easy target for cards like the
Ring of the Summoner and other cards that move
Villains to other arenas.
There's also the fact that if your opponent beats
this Villain, they get to uptap all their Neopets
and Heroes in the contest. Normally I prefer
Villains that allow card draw instead of untapping
because it gives the opponent less of an advantage,
especially because they may start another contest in
the same arena after defeating a Villain.
We also need to take the card effect to take into
consideration. If in any other contest you or your
opponent roll a 1, you choose one of your Neopets in
that contest and move it to the arena Neopet v2 is
in. There's only a couple of decks where this would
be a benefit to a player. If you're playing a
Water/Fire deck made to move from arena to arena all
the time, this might help you quite a bit. In any
other type of deck, this will cause as many problems
for you as for your opponent.
In a Fire/Water deck, this might be a good Villain
choice. In any other deck, I'd recommend looking for
something more stable.
