"To play this, you need a Dark Neopet.
When you play this card, each player chooses a card in his or her hand and discards it.
When this Villain loses a contest, the player who defeated it draws a card."

I was hoping we would start of the season with Isca or Caylis, the hero and villain of the upcoming Maraquan plot, respectively. This set brings tons of new cards, including the Lenny, to the current environment. I was looking through the card list Wednesday night, and saw that there are some particularly good effects. It has been a long time since we've reviewed a card, so let's get down to Jhudora's Bodyguards.

TNT already reviewed this card, so it'll be tough to review as well. To begin, these two Kougras are incredibly cool looking, and I wouldn't mind having them. They have quite a good Agility stat that would stand up to any Experienced Pet, as well as many Heroes. Their Strength is above average, and the Magic stat is decent. These two little kitties are stupid though, so don't drop them in the Intelligence arena.

As for their effect, I'll be honest here: I never liked effects that force you to discard, especially with Villains. This one on the other hand is better than most (including Jhudora or her Staff). Coming from Yu-Gi-Oh!, I love the idea of eliminating your opponent's hand and limiting their options. This card has the potential to be abused. Your opponent won't be ready for it (most likely), so they'll lose an important card, while you get to use it with cards that prosper in the discard pile (Neopets already listed cards that do).

Rating: 3.5/5 - Forcing a discard onto your opponent is a fun thing to do.
It will either stop a bank, an Experienced Neopet, a Villain, or a Hero, which will definitely help you out in the long run.
