First day
sales of Pokémon Emerald have been very
impressive
They will most likely ensure that not
only does Nintendo claim the No.1
software spot next week, but with the
special editions GBA: SPs now on the
market to celebrate Emerald's launch,
the No.1 hardware spot might well also
be reclaimed. For reference, after just
one day Pokémon Emerald has managed to
shift 52% of its initial stock to rack
up sales of around 372,000 units!

children from their pocket money.
But Pokemon actually began as a game.
And it was the game's popularity that
led to the animated cartoon, movies,
collectible cards and countless other
merchandise.
