Yu-Gi-Oh! Ultimate Masters Arrives

Konami announced today that Yu-Gi-Oh! Ultimate Masters -- World Championship Tournament 2006 is now shipping for the Game Boy Advance.

The new title includes more than 2000 cards, including selections from the latest Structure decks and the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX universe. The game will also ship with three limited-edition trading cards from the GX universe. FullStory


Ghost Recon Becomes Xbox 360 Bestseller
Advanced Warfighter becomes the fastest selling Xbox 360 title in three European countries

Ubisoft has announced early sales figures for the company's recently released Xbox 360 title, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. The game enjoyed sales of around 240,000 copies in the first week alone in the North American territories, whilst selling 120,000 units in the first three days in Europe. FullStory


Microsoft starts music video downloads via Xbox360

Microsoft has announced an agreement with Epic Records to offer exclusive artist content and high-definition music video downloads free for all Xbox360 gamers for a year.

A World Without Pikachu?

In case you are too young to remember, way, way back in the early 1980's, a man named Gunpei Yokoi had the vision of on-the-go gaming. Although certainly not the first to think up such an idea, he and fellow Nintendo workers felt they had the creativity and power to make it work. After a year or so of developing, the team released the first Game & Watch, a machine designed to play one (yes one) simple game using familiar button mechanics that later structured Nintendo's controller layout.
