Clearing Your Xbox 360's Cache
Microsoft advises against function without help from a
professional.
A small corner of the Internet pointed out that the Xbox 360
Spring Update boasted a special feature -- the ability to
clear the cache on the Xbox 360.
Here's how: "Go to the system blade and then memory. Press Y
on either the HDD or a MU and then press X,X,Left Bumper,
Right Bumper, X,X. Once you do this a blade will pop up
saying: This will perform maintenance on your Xbox 360
storage devices. Do you want to continue? Pick yes or no."

Sony releases more details about PS3
More details about Sony's plans for the PS3 have been
revealed by Sony Compuer Entertainment president Ken
Kutaragi.
In an interview with PC Impress Watch, a Japanese technology
website, Kutaragi said that basic online services would be
free.

Nintendo receives patent for "Instant Messaging
Service"
Could it be that Nintendo is looking to add instant
messaging (IM) functionality to its gaming platforms? A
recently received patent opens the possibility. Originally
filed in November 2000 but awarded this week, Patent
#7,056,217 describes the creation of an new IM service that
would let gamers send messages and share user accounts and
buddy lists across different Nintendo systems.
