Hello Pojo Fans,

Numeron Storm is one of the awesome Normal Spell cards you can use through Numeron Network.

Aside from the broken power of Numeron Calling, you can use Storm to destroy all your opponents Spell/Trap cards regardless of position. Wiping your opponent’s backrow clean is tremendous in pushing without potential restrictions to your moves and the added LP damage you do is welcome. Within the Numeron deck the LP damage isn’t really needed because their big monsters already do tons of damage. The restriction of needing a Numerounius monster hurts this card tremendously. Even in its own archetype the Numerounius monsters aren’t easy to bring out. Waking the Dragon is one of the mentioned ways to summon a Numerounius monster, but that relies on your opponent and you never want to depend on your opponent.

A powerful dead card in the hand unless you have a certain monster out. Number of those in the archetype: 2. Good luck playing this. Why would you when you can play Harpies Feather Duster again?

Gotta fill out the week somehow, and thankfully Numerounius has a support card with Numeron Storm.

Numeron Storm is a Normal Spell that if you control a Numerounius monster, you destroy as many Spells and Traps the opponent controls as possible, then you can burn for 1000 damage. So for getting the hard to summon boss monsters out, you get the one support card that’s just Harpie’s Feather Duster with burn. It’d be nice if it included the Numeron Xyzs since those are reasonable to get out, and having a Harpie’s Feather Duster locked behind them are fine considering you likely already resolved Numeorn Network to summon the Gates to begin with. Instead, even if you’re trying to play the Numerounius monsters, just stick to your 1 Harpie’s Feather Duster.

Numeron Storm, another Normal Magic, brings us to midweek.  Controlling a Numerounious Monster lets you destroy as many of your opponent’s Magic/Trap cards as possible.  Nothing not to like about it, and the fact that you deal 1000 Damage (so long as you destroy at least 1 card) and that’s more or less my base for acceptable Damage from a card.  A backrow wipe, even requiring a specific card, can work.  We’ve seen things like that in plenty of Themes.  And assuming your successful CAN be important given what we’ve all ready covered this week.  But this is likely going to be a dead Draw for you more than not.  It’s something, but I wouldn’t even say this is a must if you’re playing these cards.

As if Don Thousand’s cards couldn’t get more bizarre, today’s card is Numeron Storm, which does exactly the same thing it did in the anime. This is a normal spell card that can only be activated if you control a Numerounius monster, so either Number C1000: Numerounius or its “upgraded” version we’ll cover later this week. It’s just a Harpie’s Feather Duster; destroys all spells and traps controlled by your opponent, then burns them for 1000 damage. Much like Numerounius itself, it’s not a bad card in a vacuum, but it’s only as good as Numerounius is– which is not very good. It doesn’t even do much to protect Numerounius either aside from possibly removing any floodgates or battle traps that may inconvenience you, and your opponent can still negate or respond to Numeron Storm anyway. If it’s any consolation, you can essentially activate it from your deck through Numeron Network…which you probably destroyed just to summon Numerounius in the first place. Truly, a fitting meme support card for a meme archetype.

Art: 4/5 At least the art’s pretty sick, Numerounius could give Count Von Count a run for his money.
