This is a pretty average ship if you ask me. Not
great, but not that hot either. 14 points is
probably about the right price for what you
get: Four 3S cannons, S+S movement, and five cargo
spaces. You also get Schooner and a bonus to your
boarding rolls. Woo. The boarding rolls bonus is
pretty worthless as boarding doesn't seem to be a
popular action. Schooner is never bad to have, of
course. The cannons are OK, but not great. The
movement is slightly above average. All of that put
together should make for a pretty good ship right?
Well, the thing I don't like about this one is that
it seems like a hard fit. 14 points is slightly
above a medium price for a ship, and that's not
counting the crew you'll be putting on this. You can
get a big gunship for a few points more. You likely
would be better off using a 12 point 3 or 4 master
than this ship. She's not bad, but I just don't see
where she can fit.
