Grand Temple
Now we come to the big gunship for the Jade
Rebellion. It's a bit expensive at twenty points,
but it's worth it. Let's quickly look at the
downside - 3 cargo spaces is very low but you may
not need more than that. She can be fine with a
Helmsman, Captain, and Chang Pao.
S+S movement is average, but the Helmsman takes care
of that. You get
six (!) masts that are equipped with two 3S cannons
and four 2L (!) cannons. And we haven't even gotten
to the ability. It's a Junk that is allowed to move
as a free action after shooting. Pretty good! It can
shoot and then get out of retaliation range unless
the ship it's smashing has equal movement. You can
just get within L shooting range and lay waste if
it's a smaller ship, as if you're using Chang Pao,
four 1L cannons should destroy anything with 4 or
less masts in a single turn unless you're unlucky.
Junk makes it easier to shoot them, too. Overall
this is a beast of a ship. If you're playing Jade
Rebellion, you're playing this.
