Admiral Crabtree’s family hails from
the original Plymouth settlers. His brushes with
horror at sea, however, have turned him to the
bottle, and instilled in him a burning hatred for
non-Americans.
Blackwatch is definitely one of the
better five masters in this game. The fact that she
gets +1 to all non-American ships or forts brings
those cannons down to 1Ls and 2Ls, which means on
average she’s going to hit on at least 3 of 5 cannon
shots. Her ONLY drawback is the low cargo, but if
you use your crew wisely she can be your number one
gunship.

Obviously the range of prices is
pretty wide on this ship. Judging by the sheer
number of auctions and the higher prices, I’d say
our average is a tad low here, she’s really a $5-$7
ship right now, and may even run higher the more
American players realize she’s an awesome addition
to their collection.
