Oh, look at the pretty flowers on the sails! Rose
petals on the decks!
They even named it after a rose. What have we here,
a chick ship?
Well, all I can say is, "Don't underestimate it."
High speed, four decent cannons, and a built-in
reverse-captain spell "fighter" to me.
She'll make a good one, too. But sixteen points is
too much for what you get here. WizKids apparently
thinks the reverse-captain ability is worth a lot
more than it really is, and El Rosal suffers for it.
For the same point cost, I could get a better
Spanish fighter, like La Tartessos (five 3-rank
cannon and a built-in world-hater), and a Helmsman
to give her equivalent speed.
This ship would be a good value for 12-13 points.
Overpriced as she is, I have to lower her final
grade.

El
Rosal
El Rosal is an average cost ship with a built in
captain. Good range on her four 3L cannons and good
speed with S+L. No links and below average cargo
spacce. She's a handy ship during a sealed deck
tourny but I think you can find a better deal with
other ships. She is one of the faster ships in the
set.
Definitely a gunship El Rosal garners a 3/5.
