Ability: Once per turn, this ship can look at one
face-down treasure on any island.
In memory of Pearl Harbor Day, we'll take a look at
the Pearl. Sad to say, this isn't much of a ship.
Her cargo is good, but her speed is awful, her
cannons only fair, and her ability doesn't do you
much good.
Her intended role is to be a gold ship. She has to
have a Helmsman to succeed at this. But that brings
her sailaway cost up to 11 points, and there are
plenty of gold ships with 4 or more cargo, that move
S+S or faster, for less than 11 points. You can use
her for boarding, but you won't catch many gold
ships, and boarding a small fighter is rarely worth
it. Sorry, I can't recommend this ship. Save your
points for something fast and useful.
