Ability: This ship gets +1 to her cannon rolls
against any non-Cursed ship.
When WizKids killed off the Jade Rebellion, they
divvied up the ships among the surviving major
factions. It seems that the Cursed have joined the
"Big Five," making them the "Big Six," because they
got some junks, too. But unlike the other
hand-me-down junks, this one isn't a repeat from
South China Seas, but a brand-new design.
Her speed is good for something this big; her cargo
is acceptable. I gave her guns average ratings in
spite of their low quality, just because there are
so many of them. And if you aren't shooting at
another Cursed target, her ability makes them all
3-rank, and her hit percentages jump to 300 at S
range, and 100 at L range. Very, very few ships can
boast better numbers than that, and don't forget the
Junk ability that keeps her own masts from blocking
her line of fire. This is one very nasty gunship.
Give her El Fantasma (the new sac captain), some
Oarsmen for sacrificing, and perhaps a Helmsman, and
you're set to rule the seas.
There isn't much to dislike about the Divine Dragon.
It would be nice to have more cargo or some 3-rank
cannons, but you can't have everything.
Her price is more than fair. I give her
almost-perfect marks.

Recently
my friend has gotten into the Pirates of the
Spanish Main game, and he really seems to like
the Cursed. If he was here, I'd ask him his
opinion on this ship. He'd probably give me
around a 3.5, because he likes the Cursed. If
this was Pirate, I would give it a 3.5. But it
isn't. So I won't.
The
first thing you see about this ship is the 6
masts and the pretty bad cannons. Then you
notice the ability, and the cannons become about
run-of-the-mill. The Junk keyword helps here,
letting your masts shoot through each other.
This ship needs a Captain and a helmsman. A good
choice for the captain is El Fantasma, and then
some unneccesarry 1-point crew just to use El
Fantasma's ability.
So lets
see with the El Fantasma, about 3
Oarsmen/Explorers, and a Helmsman, this ship has
average cannons, S+S+S speed, and a great extra
action chance. However, that would run its price
up to 26 points. It still might be worth it, but
i wouldn't think so.
Well,
it's good to see that the Cursed actually have a
ship in the new pack, I was afraid they'd just
get monsters. However, it definitely could have
been better, and I just can't give it any higher
than average marks. This ship earns a 2.5 of 5.
