I've said it before, and I'll say it again: England
is about fighting.
And here's some more proof. Ten points gets you a
fairly fast, decently-armed medium gunship whose hit
percentage against Pirates is actually 201%. She
could take on a four-masted Pirate and probably win,
as long as she got the first shots.
You could also use her for gold, and she wouldn't do
too badly at it.
Her cargo is fine, her speed is adequate to the
task, and she has a good chance of repaying her
point cost before the battle is over. You could put
a Captain crew on her and use her for both roles at
once.
I doubt that the Royal Navy would name a ship after
a carrion-eater usually associated with death. And
she's kind of colorful for a ship named after a
black bird. But HMS Raven is a fine ship for a good
price.
