Points: 13
Faction: Pirates
Masts: 3
Cargo: 4
Moves: S+S
Guns : 3S, 3S, 4S

Ability: After this ship resolves a shoot action,
she may move as a free action.
As with yesterday's ship, the Black Cat is a bit
faster than average.
Her cargo is decent as well; if she cost a bit less,
I could recommend her as a gold ship. Her cannons
are a bit worse than average, so I can't recommend
her as much of a fighter. The reverse Captain
ability isn't nearly as useful as a real Captain,
but WizKids thinks it is, which is why this bland
ship costs as much as Le Soleil Royal or the USS
Franklin, which are far superior in every way.
The best role I can think of for the Black Cat is as
a long-range treasure grabber. Put a Helmsman on
her, raising her speed to S+S+S, and send her to
wild islands that are closer to the enemy than they
are to you. She still has enough cargo to clean out
an island, and if an enemy gold ship shows up, the
reverse-Captain will let her take a shot and keep
moving. If a secondary fighter gets too close, take
a shot and then run like the wind. This is a very
limited role, especially for her cost, but it might
be fun to try if you're in the mood to experiment
with different tactics.
