It seems that Flotillas, which WK intended to be
portable forts, are usually used as extra cannons
tagging along behind gunships. You can't beat the
price, and the extra range is handy, too. So what
does the Cursed version of this "ship type" offer?
Like other flotillas, it can't take crew, and the
Cursed don't have a crew who adds a cargo space. The
four cannons are quite average, until you factor in
their double range. As a stand-alone fort, Death's
Anchor is okay. As a four-gun addition to a gunship,
for only seven points, she's better than average.
About two months ago (February 14 to be precise), we
reviewed the British Flotilla from Rise of the
Fiends, Gibraltar. Death's Anchor is almost
identical except her cannons are 3S instead of 2S.
That makes it easy to review Death's Anchor.
