"The Huntress" is a trim-looking little ship with
some good features.
Those features are two fine cannons and a low price.
Speed, cargo, and ability are strictly average.
You could use La Cazadora as a gold ship, or as a
secondary fighter, and do just fine either way. If
gold is her goal, she needs no crew, although either
a Helmsman or an Explorer would speed her up
considerably. As a fighter, she needs a Captain, and
a Helmsman wouldn't hurt her there, either. Her
ability isn't an awesome one, but can be very useful
if your enemy likes sea monsters and submarines.
La Cazadora is not an exceptional gold ship or a
stunning fighter, but any time you get a ship with
multiple roles, you're almost getting two ships for
the price of one. Plus, the enemy can't tell at a
glance what her role will be. And her price tag is
more than fair.
Masts: 2

Flavor Text: Capitan Oloma has developed a new
strategy for La Cazador, using the aggressive
huntress as a battering ram to discourage ships that
attempt to raid Spanish holdings.
A personal favorite of my Spanish fleet, La Cazadora
is a well rounded two master with just about
everything essential for a two master.
La Cazadora's cargo is average, sitting at a
comfortable three, so I advise throwing a captain
onto her, since her point cost will only be raised
to 11 with a captain. Her move is average, but since
it's a S+S, she can change direction during a turn,
a helpful technique that some ships don't seem to
have grasped yet. Opposite to La Cazadora's other
average statistics, her cannons are something to be
praised. She can hit ships from S range with a
lethal two cannon, AND she can hit ships from L
range with a lethal two cannon. Her ability is very
helpful, considering ramming two masters is a
favorite for many players.
La Cazadora isn't the best ship there is, but she
can be useful in the clutch, plus a very competent
fighter.
