to her cannon rolls and boarding rolls against
American ships.
This dark-looking Corsair
three-master has good speed and cargo, so she can be
a gold ship (but the Corsairs have similar ships for
fewer points). She has reasonable cannons, so she
can be a fighter (and the Corsairs don't have
anything better for ten points). But if you suspect
you'll be facing the Stars and Stripes, then her hit
percentage jumps to 200%, and now you're in "above
average" territory.
A Captain is all the crew she
needs. Most of the Corsair named crew can find
useful work on board her, but they aren't needed,
and none truly excel on her, with the possible
exception of Wesley (Captain and +1 on boarding).
The Wicked Kareen should be an opportunist, shooting
when she can, boarding when she gets a chance, and
cleaning out a wild island with her unused cargo
spaces if she's too far from the action.
An L-range cannon would have been
a nice addition, but you can't have everything. This
is a good ship for a below-average price, and should
be an active part of any Corsair fleet.
