Rum Runner
It's hard to miss the Rum Runner with those fancy
purple sails!
The Rum Runner is definitely supposed to be a
runner, not a fighter. Its cannons are all 4L, so
fighting is an unlikely prospect. The Rum Runner's
specialty is gold running, as shown by its four
cargo spaces and S+S base move. It has Parley to
protect it from being shot at (if successful) but if
the Rum Runner is being attack by something slower
and weaker than it, then it might be a better idea
to take a hit or two rather than give up valuable
treasure.
If left alone, the Rum Runner makes a great gold
runner. Even under a little pressure it still does
well. It's a little pricey though for a boat whose
best skill is bribing an enemy to leave it alone.
