This little English ship is well-made for gold running. Her cost is low, her speed adequate, and her ability can keep her safe. Her cargo is lacking, but how much should a one-masted ship carry, anyway? (We won't mention the Banshee's Cry in this discussion.)

If you wanted to, you could give her a Captain and use her as a cheap fighter. She'd do okay in that role, but one-masted ships don't last long once the cannonballs start flying. But however you use her, she's likely to pay back your initial investment, simply because she costs so little. HMS Minerva isn't a superb ship, but she's fine value for what you pay.
