+1 gold when unloaded at your home island.
The Sea Crane is one of the Jade Rebellion's few
dedicated gold ships -- most of their junks are
meant for battle. This one would make a fair fighter
in a pinch, but that's not her role.
Her speed, low cost, and ability all scream "gold
ship." If her cargo were one higher, she'd be
excellent, but she's quite good as is. The only crew
who links to her, Shap-'ng'Tsai, is a fighting crew,
so put him elsewhere. In fact, the Sea Crane needs
no crew at all, just some open ocean and some
gold-laden islands. She can defend herself against
small fighters, but you're better off using her
speed to keep her out of trouble. Her ability works
best if you make many short voyages rather than one
long one; the more often she unloads, the wealthier
you'll be.
The Sea Crane, along with her partner the East Wind,
makes a fast gold-running adjunct to a Jade fleet.
Use her more belligerent fleetmates to keep the
enemy off her back, keep her moving, and watch your
gold add up.
