Cargo Master/Master Bianco
The other new generic crew of Savage Shores is the
Cargo Master. The Savage Shores incarnation of
Master Bianco has the Cargo Master keyword as well
as another new keyword, Secret Hold.
The Cargo Master keyword is as such: "All friendly
ships of the same nationality get +1 cargo spaces.
This crew takes up no cargo space."
The Cargo Master provides a little incentive for
players to concentrate of a single nation within
their fleets...at least for Americans and Spanish.
According to the Collector's Checklist, only the
Americans get a Cargo Master and Master Bianco of
Spain has that keyword.
These two crew work great in large fleets where you
get more extra cargo spaces for your points, but
this ability comes with a high price: 5 points.
Master Bianco would go well with a crew-shield on
some sort as the Secret Hold keyword forbids your
enemies from taking his ship's treasure. Master
Bianco costs 7 points, two more than the Cargo
Master.
The value of these two crew is dependant on the size
of your fleet and its composition. They cost too
much for small fleets, but they're well-priced for
big fleets.
