A ship like this can either be a real nuisance, or a
short-lived waste of points. It depends on what your
enemies do.
The Snipe is fast and cheap, which usually spells
"gold ship." But not with a cargo of 1! If you use
her for gold, you'll want to add Gentleman Jocard
for an extra cargo space, and now she isn't so
cheap. For the same cost, you could add a Captain
instead, and use her as a support fighter, perhaps
with a Cannoneer or Musketeer along for the ride.
Her one cannon is okay, and her ability may keep her
out of trouble long enough for her to do some
damage. But if the enemy's guns are mostly S-rank,
then the Snipe may fall victim to a sniper. Or she
might get rammed and finished off that way. One-masted
ships don't usually last long in battle.
Still, for six points, you can't go too far wrong.
The Snipe can snap up one treasure at a time, or she
can do some mischief with her cannon. Use your
imagination and be bold!
