Ability: Schooner. Once per turn, you may reroll any
die roll you make for this ship; you must use the
second die roll result.
The Fiddler's Green is the mythical place where
certain groups of people (like US Army paratroopers)
are supposed to meet after they die and before they
go to judgment. The ship that bears this name is
unusual for the Cursed, in that she's actually a
decent ship.
Her speed is average. which is high for the Cursed.
Her cannons leave something to be desired, but her
reroll ability helps somewhat. Her cargo is good for
a medium-sized ship. You could use her for gold or
as a secondary fighter, and ram and board if the
enemy lets you; she isn't great at either role, but
she's better than a lot of Cursed ships, and there
are very few that can serve in three roles.
For what it's worth, I also like the look of this
ship. Instead of the usual rotting hull and shredded
sails of the Cursed, the Fiddler's Green is a
trim-looking ship. Her numbers are pretty average,
but she's well above the usual low Cursed standard.
