Points: 13
Masts: 4
Cargo: 4
Moves: S+S

Ability: Galley. This ship gets +1 to her cannon
rolls and boarding rolls against Barbary Corsair
ships.
Our first review in "Ships with an 'X' in their
names" week is a big English galley. She's one of
the better galleys, so it's a surprise that she
flies the Union Jack.
The Corsairs are probably sorry they lost this one.
She's got decent speed, adequate cannons, and good
cargo for a price that's a bit lower than I would
have expected. She can sail with just a Captain and
do a good job fighting, especially against the
Corsairs. She'll also make a good boarding ship,
with four masts and the galley's cannot-be-pinned
ability. You could even use her for treasure
running, although she's too pricey to be a good
choice for that role.
In sum, the Alexandria is a good ship and a good
value. She has the one weakness of all galleys (she
does no damage when she rams), but aside from that,
she has a lot of potential to do your enemies some
serious hurt.
