This week we
take a look at the Cursed and first up is an average
four mast ship, Abomination. However, average in
Cursed terminology means “the best thing since
sliced bread”.
Her stats
are okay but the most interesting thing about this
ship is the fluff text. It says that basically she’s
made up of body parts. The graphics and name
certainly illustrate this well. So given the fact
that must other navies would have gone all out to
chop down lots and lots of nice oak trees to make
their ships. The Cursed in this case have used
cheap, sustainable, organic matter. So, Wizkids when
designing the Cursed and this ship must have
inadvertently made them into a nation of sea-going
zombie environmentalists.
Her cannons
are okay, with the built-in cannoneer you can back
up a missed shot. With a captain and helmsman she’s
good to go. Her cargo isn’t bad either. You’ll
certainly have the space to grab the odd bit of
shiny stuff. And the Cursed need all the help they
can get in that area.
The problem
I have with this ship is her cost. Where they got
15pts from is a complete mystery to me. Most Cursed
ships are rounded up the nearest whole number. This
ship must of been round up after a few extra points
were added for no reason.
