a ship from the good old days of
early Pirates, when ships were fast.
The Fancy is typical of Pirate ships
of that era - she's inexpensive,
quick, and better at the gold game
than the fighting game.
Yes, her ability is about fighting,
but how often are you likely to use
it? Yeah, you could give her a
Captain and use her to snipe at
enemy ships from a distance. If
you're also using a ship like the
Jaguar's Spirit that gets a bonus
for choosing targets that have
already been shot at in the current
turn, this could be a winning
strategy.
Otherwise, skip the crew and use her
for gold. She can't carry much, but
she's quick and she's cheap, so
she'll pay back her point cost long
before the battle is over.
This small ship isn't as spectacular
a value as the Rover or Banshee's
Cry, but then, not many ships are.
She's a solid value, though, if you
want more pieces of eight than
you've got.
