This week, we'll look at some Spanish ships, for no particular reason.
We'll lead off with a true rarity, a ship from later than Barbary Coast with a good turn of speed.
 
The San Pedro is clearly meant for the gold game; if her speed and cargo don't convince you, her ability should. She can also serve a supporting role, receiving gold from other ships and using her ability to run up their value. And with three average cannons, you could even use her as a support fighter, although Spain has better ships for that role.
 
This ship is practically a clone of an older ship, El Alquimista; the only difference is that the older ship has a 3L cannon on the mainmast.
It's hard to find a fast ship in the newer releases, never mind a fast ship that's good and useful. The San Pedro is a fine gold ship and a good value; Spanish admirals should definitely give her a try.
