La Corse ("The Corsican," perhaps a reference to Napoleon?) makes somewhat better use of her ability than yesterday's ship did. She has the masts and the cargo to do some effective boarding. The Reverse-Captain ability was made for this; you shoot first to knock some of the enemy's masts down, then ram him (ideally taking out another mast), then board with an advantage in masts so you'll win the boarding action. If that's your goal, you'll want a Helmsman to catch your foes, but no other crew except maybe an Oarsman to throw to the sharks if you lose the boarding roll.

France has plenty of gold ships and fighters, and the combination of those two types is how France usually wins battles. But if you want to add some spice to your fleet and do a little boarding, La Corse isn't a bad way to go about it. Ideally, she ought to cost a few points less, but you pay extra for her ability. C'est la guerre.
