Strategy: ----------- As you can see this is a basic semi-fast T-Tar deck. The idea is to get Sableye out first turn (in a perfect world) and donk until I can build up a T-Tar or two. I tech.ed the Mewtwo line in to combat the rampant platinum basics in my area along with the slower building arch-types. The Lickilicky is not only good colorless beef (120hp) but it allows me to attack benched uxie/claydoll techs while I build up a T-Tar. - Brad Hey guys! It's Rocket Boss again with a new deck fix/review, one that I have tinkered with quite extensively myself, Tyranitar. This is a good variation on the setup and there are only a few things I would change. You seem pretty content with Lickilicky so we'll leave him in the deck, no problems or major objections there, except the retreat cost, but we'll handle that soon enough. Sableye, Unown G and Mewtwo seem pretty logical, especially if basic-dominant decks are big in your area, so we'll leave them alone. The only change I would make to the Pokemon in this deck is to remove the Crobat G and add what should be a mainstay in most, if not all Dark decks, Darkrai Lv. X. I'll give it to you though, Crobat G will let you add an extra ten damage when it's played, and it does play a lot easier than Darkrai Lv. X, the effort that you put into getting Darkrai Lv. X out will definitely be worth it. Instead of Crobat G being a single Plus Power, why not go with Darkrai Lv. X and make every Dark energy on the defending Dark Pokemon a plus power too! Another great combo to help with this, especially since you have that beefy Lickilicky in there is to use Weavile (SW). Weavile will let you turn your defending Pokemon into a Dark type, opening up Lickilicky to the benefits of both Darkrai Lv. X and Moonlight Stadium (solving the hefty retreat cost). So with the Pokemon we'll Remove: 3 Crobat G and add a 1-1 Darkrai Lv. X and a 1-1 Weavile (SW) leaving us 1 space to make. With the liberties that Moonlight Stadium, Weavile and Darkrai Lv. X will bring to the table the need for the Pokehealer +'s in this deck is essentially nullified, so let's scrap them and one Night Maintenance (because with T-Tar you want the energy to stay and the only thing that should be getting knocked out is Sableye after its purpose has been served) and add 2 more Moonlight Stadium, 1 Premier ball and 1 Level Max (just to help speed your Lv. X techs). The energy is fine, you want to stick with all 4 Darkness energy because you can still add those with Darkness Drive and it's always good to have backup in case Darkrai is unattainable for one reason or another which leaves us with...
// Pokemon: {24}
3/2/3 Tyranitar
(SF/SF/SF) 1/1 Mewtwo lvX (LA/LA)
1/1 Weavile
(DP/SW)
//

So there it is Brad, a redefined vision of your deck, hereby christened Dark Reign, fresh from Rocket Boss! Keep the fixes/reviews coming Pokepeople, Rocket Boss is here to help, but until then I'm Blasting Off Again!
