Muk Man on Pokemon Since I plan on going to worlds this year, I decided to chronicle my season. I hope that others may learn for my experience, and take the proper steps towards becoming a better pokemon player. I am also doing this so when I leave the game I will have something to reflect upon.
My Road To Worlds…
I've Gotten a lot of requests for my List. Here you go my gift to you.
The Official & Original SUPER STANTLER***Warning*** This is an extremely hard deck to play you can not just net deck this and expect to win.
Super StantlerPokemon 17 4 Stantler 2 Seel 2 Dewgong 2 Cubone 2 Marrowak 2 Latios d EX 3 Holons Electrode
Trainers 294 Marys Request 4 Cessation Crystals 3 Castaway 3 Cursed Stone 2 Holon Legacy 2 Island Hermit 2 Celios Network 2 Energy Root 2 Solid Rage 1 Lanettes Net Search 1 Scott 1 Copycat 1 Prof Oak 1 Holon Farmer
Energy 14 2 Scramble 2 d Rainbow Energy 4 Holons WP 6 Water
StrategyOf Course the main point is to push away your opponents IMPORTANT trainers. But because each game is different, you must have a strategy, and out think your opponent. You have the advantage because you will see their hand every turn. Your goal is to lock them in an unfavorable situation, then simply pick the deck apart.
Example Metanite... Push away their windstorms, then lock in the crystal and cursed stone. mid to late game let marrowak clean up the rest of the game, or Lock Holon Legacy and let Dewgong just walk all the prizes.
Flaridos... Stantler+holons WP and Cessation Crystal means the will have to fight with their EXs, so push away the super scoop ups, then stadiums, and lock cursed stone.
ANY DECK YOU FACE... Stantler+Cessation Crystal+Holons WP can handle 98% of the current format
Raieggs... push away the cessation crystal, then let marrowak+energy root and dewgong take all the prizes... marrowak's energy bone can take multiple prizes. They will have to attack with raichu to ko your dewgong, so take them out first, eggs can only do damage by using delta circle, and that still only does a max of 30.
All Uncontrolabes aside. The only way to lose is to be outplayed or misplay. I'll be honest. Every game I lost could have been won had I not made simple errors. grabing a celios a turn earlier, pushing this instead of that... ect. There are no bad matchup with the deck. every game is winnable, and reasonably winnable. So good luck with the deck, and I hope you have fun with it.... Team Rogue Forever!
Stay tuned for the next installment. Episode 6 “The Stantler Show”
