While I wait to attend Origins "Game Fair Only" for only $3 this weekend (allows dealer room access, but, no event participation--great price!  http://www.originsgamefair.com/), I have a tiny bit of news.  Omahanime beat us to it, he has great scans of the new Majestic Dawn blister pack gift sets I saw over the weekend at Target & Wal-mart (sorry, 3 stores and NO price posted on the peg...), containing 3 boosters (2 are Majestic Dawn), a collectible coin and your choice of either Glameow or Mime Jr. promo foils.  Omahanime's scans are at Pokebeach's site; thanks!  However, I am waiting for Omahanime to scan this other new blister pack which I found at Target over the weekend, $4.99, containing a Majestic Dawn booster, a POP series 6 2-card booster and a POP6 foil Manaphy!  E-bay does have scans of the foil:

I also found this really fun new issue of one of Corocoro's offshoot magazines, it has a Pokemon Pen case with slide Pikachu puzzle as a bonus!  You can watch the cool little promo film at this Japanese site:

There is also a feature comic about the Pokemon Battrio game in this 'zine.  In fact, there are about 3 comics featuring Pokemon inside!  If I weren't so sleepy and tired after work, I swear I would spend time trying to learn Japanese!  I can only read about enough to scope for Poketto Monsuta or something such at the bookstore... LOL!  :)

 

I will try to remember to take my digicam to Origins, hopefully the Pokemon booth will have something exciting--mebbe the series 3 battle figures prototypes shown at an earlier convention this year, in a nice glass case?  Oooooh!  In the meantime, keep your eyes open in the Target clearance aisle--what doesn't sell will surely be marked down again before the July influx of new toys!
