Toywiz.com also has some pictures of the same items, so, it's safe to say this picture is the real deal.  Interestingly, Toywiz does not yet have pictures of the talking plush I showed you over the last few weeks; omahanime was having a hard time locating those--I found 'em at my local Meijer, FYI.  They even restocked over the last week, but, they don't have that many on the shelf all at once...  I can tell you that Toys 'R' Us is having a buy 2 get 1 free this week, per the Sunday ad, on select items including Jakks Pokemon toys; please see the Sunday paper ad for additional details.  While I was at TRU, I found this new Pokemon "Ultimate" Handbook, by Scholastic, out early, $9.99:

Unfortunately, I was not aware of a great sale at Meijer Saturday "9/20 only" until I got there; they had 30% all trading cards/related items.  Yo, omahanime, they had the Mewtwo and Rhyperior tins; at 30% off it was a great deal, but, what with the massive power outages and storm damage over the last week, most people's minds were on restocking their 'fridges with little time for much else.  Sorry folks; hope some of you caught a bargain while you were out replacing spoiled food.  Sadly, many people were still without power today, 8 days later; but, hey parents, Pokemon TCG doesn't need electricity, so, keep some cards handy, just in case, to keep the kids occupied in the interim.

 

My local TRU is expecting holiday stocking to start soon and trucks should be rolling in by the first week of October.  For Central Ohio folks, it's sad to see the Morse Road "institution" TRU folding (everything is on sale there, BTW); however, the service desk staff indicated that a new TRU should be opening near Polaris Mall, by Costco, Gemini Parkway, by around October 20.  Luckily, some of the staff will be able to retain their jobs by moving with the store, whew.  I can't wait to see a pristine TRU; I've never had the chance to witness one opening before!  I'll keep you posted if there are any cool details!

 

I had planned to shoot a pic of the Tomy/Kaiyodo Charizard by the TFG Charizard; but, again, due to the awful storm over the last week and several outages, etc., I'm not in the best frame of mind and just didn't have the time.  My heart goes out to those still recovering from the storm; I hear it is especially bad in the south (and Pojo with your basement flood--we didn't get a drop of rain with that here in Cowtown!  Just awful winds...).  Hang in there everyone.  Try to find a small bright spot in a dreary week.  Pika!
