New Mini Plush

OMG, Jakks has produced one of the cutest batches of mini plush I’ve seen in a while. Check it out, the plush are made of that super-soft velour and the 3D detailing and embroidery are amazing. Whereas I and many customers passed on Jakks’ first try at Croagunk, this one is actually a cutie! I think they finally got it right, by golly! The Shaymin Land Forme is easily the most spectacular of the bunch but wow, Regigigas is sporting some bright green faux shearling trim! :D These and quite a few other new Jakks toys have shown up at TRU over the last week. If you are curious what is coming out, I’d recommend surfing the Toywiz site for more pix (click Pokémon tab then click “New Arrivals”!). They actually just posted the mini plush on the 29th—I had surfed there the day before and had not seen anything. The minute I spotted the new items, I called my local TRU and lo-! I, however, did not make it in time to snag a Shaymin Land Forme figure last weekend—new singles are out, too. I saw some of those, er, Cheebies(?—the big-headed plastic figures), too. They were out of Pikachu but there was a Pachirisu, Munchlax and Croagunk, I believe.

 

For you Central Ohio folks, check out the new Lego store at Easton Town Center; it’s across the way from the AMC theater building on Gramercy St. Staring at Regi, I realize I must go check on my broccoli before it burns, gotta run. Pi!
