Got Posters?

 

Time to decorate those dorm room walls!  Viz has this cool new Pokémon posterzine out, $9.99, available at your local newsstand (I found mine at Barnes & Noble and spotted it at Meijer, too).  Eleven colorful posters, 4x the size of a magazine page featuring your fave Sinnoh Pokemon, trainers and Team Rocket!  Also on select newsstands, UK’s Pokémon World zine has a big puzzle/activity zine out now (import, $19.99 @ Barnes & Noble) if you are bored with your English lit. homework… ;)  Beckett’s new issue is out, too, featuring pricing for Supreme Victors cards (avail. at Wal-mart and Toy ‘R’ Us); TRU still had back issues of last month’s anniversary issue which is also something every fan should probably have as it seems many of us are celebrating anniversaries as Pokéfans this year!

 

 

Yo, omahanime, how about that new blister pack?  I found the 3 pack, containing 2 Supreme Victors boosters, 1 Ex Power Keepers booster, your choice of Manaphy or Regigigas POP Series 9 foil and a collectible coin (Cranidos or Shieldon spotted), $10.99 at my local Target.  Also of note:  while it seems most of the Targets I’ve visited locally do not have a Jakks Pokémon toy section at the moment, one local Target DID have some of the new toys (incl. the Shaymin wave of mini-plush!) whereas another had the Platinum wave of 3-pack figures on the clearance rack.  This is all very puzzling.  Some Wal-marts were clearancing out Pokémon figures, too, while others did seem to be getting in new merch.  It’s hit or miss shopping; I’ll keep you posted if this changes as the holiday season nears.  Meijer is another good place to check for things, if you have one in your area.  Off to clean the Magikarp tank!  J
