At Bookstores Now!

Barnes and Noble was hit with several new Pokémon related items just this past week.  Two ‘zines worth looking at are the new issues of Nintendo Power and Shonen Jump.  The August 2011 issue of Nintendo Power includes a Pokémon DVD that contains a Pokémon:  Black & White TV episode and The Presidents of the United States of America’s Pokémon music video, $5.99.  The September 2011 Shonen Jump, as pointed out to me by Poké-fan Emily, is dubbed the “Pokémon Issue” and has a feature section  called “Pokémon:  The Insider’s Guide to the Worldwide Phenomenon,” $4.99.  Finally, there’s a new issue of Pokémon Adventures, volume 14, $7.99, which at a chunky ~270 pages wraps up the Gold & Silver story arc.  Can you possible read all this before school starts back?  Don’t forget to hit Toys ‘R’ Us for Pokémon backpacks and lunch kits!  Also, if you’re having a hard time tracking down that one last Jakks toy you might’ve missed during the spring Black & White melee, Meijer is now finally getting in the Black & White waves.  Locally, they were the only store I noticed carrying that last “missing” wave of figures that included Celebi and Zoroark.  While they may be slower to stock items, they are a good spot to check for things you may have missed the first time ‘round.

Happy shopping and stay cool!  Pi-Pikachu!
