Staycation week means I've been up early to check out the local Disney Store for Frozen goodies--and the mall in which it is located is directly across the street from Toys 'R' Us, so...

The latest wave of Tomy Trainer's Choice Pokémon plush has arrived at Toys 'R' Us! Cyndaquil, Charmander and more Pikachu spotted and these aren't hanging around long on the shelves; by the time I drove to another TRU in my area, nothing but Pikachu was left. I was not lucky enough to get a fuzzy tail Cyndaquil the first time around years ago, so I was thrilled to spot this cute little guy, the only one left, on a bottom shelf. Charmander's tail flame was also a fluffy plush and it was just as cute.
 
Yesterday I was lucky enough to be the only person waiting at the Disney Store, so I got to "open" the place wearing Mickey's Sorcerer's Apprentice cap and cloak, and I got a special lanyard from that visit. I was quite surprised I was the only person there, as every morning at most stores that sell toys, there is always a queue to see the new stuff. This is only the beginning of the shelf resetting prep at retail, TRU just did inventory and Target is marking clearance. Hopefully we can expect a lot of cool new toys within the next few weeks!
