Top 6 Pokemon (Team Lists) Hey, it’s Kyle again. Before we get started, I gotta clear something up here. I am not LudaJr2000 and have nothing to do with Luda whatsoever. There was a little misinterpretation by the posters of my double battle list. I'm getting everything straightened out. Now, onto the good stuff.
Name: Venusaur Type(s): Grass/Poison Gender: Male Nature: Bold Ability: Overgrow Item: Leftovers Move Set:
Razor Leaf Leech Seed Toxic Synthesis
Strategy: Basic Grass annoyer. Utilizes the Grass-exclusive Leech Seed/Toxic combo to force a switch. Razor Leaf for decent damage & STAB and synthesis heals Venu up. Also acts as a Semi-pseudopasser as it Seeds, Poisons, and switches.
Name: Omastar Type(s): Water/Rock Gender: Male Nature: Modest Ability: Swift Swim Item: Salac Berry Move Set: Spikes Rain Dance Surf Ice Beam Strategy: This one is a fun one. Set up Spikes, then Rain Dance. With Rain Dance Omastar is faster than a lot, but Salac never hurts either. Then, sweep. The opponent only switches if they're desperate and then they get Spiked. I try to use Ice Beam when I feel a switch coming on so I might Freeze the new Pokémon. Serves them right.
Name: Blisses Type(s): Normal Gender: Female(Obviously) Nature: Bold Ability: Serene Grace Item: Leftover Move Set: Counter Aromatherapy Softboiled Flamethrower
Strategy: The "Nurse of Death" is a fantastic Cleric. Counter a Physical, heal, then do it again! Flamethrower handles Steels and with Serene Grace, it has double the chance of Burn. Blissey, She's not just for Pokécenters anymore.
Name: Torkoal Type(s): Fire Gender: Female Nature: Bold Ability: White Smoke Item: Leftovers Move Set: Amnesia Rest Yawn Flamethrower Strategy: Tank. Defense is superb; Amnesia boosts Sp. Defense. Yawn annoys and makes Rest a two-way sleepover.
Name: Salamence Type(s): Dragon/Flying Gender: Female Nature: Adamant Ability: Intimidate Item: Scope Lens Move Set: Dragon Dance Aerial Ace Earthquake Brick Break Strategy: Physical Sweeper. Simple strategy really. Scope Lens makes it all the more deadly, though I oft-times sub in King's Rock. Salamance has terrific Speed already, and with Dragon Dance, it's g0dly.
Name: Gengar Type(s): Ghost Poison Gender: Female (How do they know these things? Never mind, I'll live longer if I don't know.) Nature: Calm Ability: Levitate Item: Petaya Berry Move Set: Psychic Destiny Bond Thunderbolt HP Dark Strategy: One S. Sweeper on this team wouldn't suffice (as Omastar is half Spiker) so I picked this superb Ghost. Odd thing about this Pokémon is that it is a Physical Pokémon, but its stats don't support it. Destiny Bond is the trump card. The opponent won't see it coming and more often than not, Gengar will strike first.

Also, I accept “hate mail” so long as a compelling argument and reason is presented (i.e. don’t send something like, “You suck becuz Golduck Sucks becuz Golduck is blue and blue sucks!!! P.S. You suck!!) Note: spelling and grammatical errors are present to demonstrate the lack of mental fortitude of those who send such letters.
