Top 6 Pokemon (Team Lists)
From: chris woodard [mailto:raichu6039@yahoo.com]
Sent: Sunday, April 03, 2005 3:07 AM
My Team is very well rounded, and hard to beat.
Gyarados@Liechi Berry
Adamant:Intimidate
Evs:252 Attack 224 Speed rest in Defense
- Hidden Power Flying
- Taunt
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
One DD lets me outspeed Alakazam, who is my main concern,
but now one HP usually will easily dispatch him. Electrics
are no problem thanks to Earthquake, and in addition, Taunt
lets me make sure no one Hazes away my boosts i.e Weezing.
Sceptile@Leftovers
Timid:Overgrow
EVs: max Speed, and Sp.Atk
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
- Leaf Blade
- Hidden Power Ice
Leech Seed, then put up a Sub, so you'll regain your health
quickly. A very reliable strategy. LB usually OHKOs if its a
CH, and Hidden Power takes care of Dragons, and Venusaur.
Suicune@Leftovers
Bold:Pressure
Netbattle Spread
- Calm Mind
- Surf
- Hidden Power Grass
- Substitute
A tank/sweeper. Suicune can just sit thier, and take damage
while my sub is up, and Calm Mind at the same time. HP Grass
takes care of Gyarados, and Vaporeon while Surf is for STAB.
Salamence@Lum Berry
Adamant:Intimidate
EVs: 252 Attack 166 Speed 77 HP rest in Defense
- Rock Slide
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power Flying
One Dragon Dance lets me out speed Jolteon after one use,
then I can use Rock Slide to take out Aerodactyl which would
usually OHKO me. HP is for STAB while EQ kills fires, and
Jolteon.
Forretress@Leftovers
Careful:Sturdy
EVs: 129 HP 252 Sp.Def rest split between Attack, and
Defense.
- Explosion
- Rapid Spin
- Spikes
- Earthquake
300+ Defense, and around 270 SP.Def can last awhile.
Explosion is if I need to go out with a bang, EQ kills
fires, which otherwise kill me. Spikes x3 takes a quarter of
the enemies health, so the other pokemon have an easier
time. Rapid Spin gets rid of Spikes, Leech Seed, Fire Spin
etc.
Raichu@Petaya Berry
Modest:Static
252 Sp.Atk 240 Speed 18 HP
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Thunder Wave
- Surf
My favorie poke. :)
