Skarmory. # 227. Type: Steel/Flying. Ability: Keen eye/ Sturdy. Locations: Route 113 (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald), Ruin Valley (Firered), Snag from Snagem Leader Gonzap (Colosseum). Hi everyone. Sorry about last week. I was busy studying for my final CAD exam. So, let’s move on… Today is Skarmory’s turn. Skarmory is one of the most used Pokémon ever. With big normal defense it is almost guaranteed to last several turns in a battle. Its Abilities are regular. Not too good, but not bad either. I think I would like Keen eye for my Skarmory. Spikes are a must on this Pokémon, and that’s because this one can stand 3 turns spiking. Then it’s just a matter of waiting and a wise use of the rest of your team. Todays suggested move combination: Skarmory. Nature: Impish (+ Defense, -Special Attack). Equip: Leftovers. EV´s: 252 Special Defense, 129 HP, 129 Attack. - Spikes - Roar - Drill peck - Toxic Simple, easy and effective. Use spikes 3 times and Roar, you opponent will loose a considerable amount of HP. Then Toxic or Drill peck and Roar again. Repeat and enjoy… You could even take out Toxic for Counter, Substitute or something else. It’s your choice… When should I use this Pokémon? Almost always. As I said, it is one of the most used Pokémon, and that’s because very few things can deal with this bird… Switch if you’re facing fire or electric types… What should I use against this Pokémon? Magneton with Magnet Pull. Because Skarmory dies with Thunderbolt and has no chance to run. You could use a Charizard as well, maybe Jolteon… Bottom line: Try it because it wins battles, and because it is easy and fun to use… Rating: 4.2/5 Hope you enjoyed. Reeve

Playdoh Dude

This week we are reviewing one of my favorite pokemon, Skarmory. Skarmory has Steel and Flying types, which take care of each other's weaknesses nicely. He also has solid HP, so he is a very useful Pokemon to stall with. Skarmory is on many Elite Four teams, and for good reason. He has an amazing moveset, consisting of some stell moves and flying moves. Skarmory is usually used to stall for healing ofr to get in some nice Stell damage. In almostg every versionof the game, Skarmory is very useful and simple to find. I recommend him in his Silver/Gold/Crystal or Ruby/Sapphire forms, which is where he has his best attacks.
