I’m
sorry about these delays guys and girls. I’ve been traveling and
a little bit busier than usual.
I’m still looking for TRU Darkrai. If you are reading
this and feel like helping me out feel free to e-mail me. I’ll
trade you well for it. Same goes for Gamestop Deoxys. Thanks =)
We will
start comparing alternate evolutions this week. Kirlia has two
very different evolutions. The first one is Gardevoir, a somehow
underestimated Pokémon. Its defense and speed are its worst
weaknesses, but its special stats are great. I can handle a
couple special hits and it is a good Pokémon for all kinds of
trainers, as it is used easily on both competitive and casual
play.
The
movesets for today are…
Special Sweeper.
Gardevoir@Wise
glasses.
Nature: Modest (+ Special attack, - Attack).
EV’s: 252 Special attack / 252 Special defense / 6 HP.
- Calm mind
- Psychic
- Shadow ball
- Focus blast / Thunderbolt / HP bug
Use calm mind whenever you can, and sweep the rest of the time,
pretty easy set. Both abilities work well.
Annoyer.
Gardevoir@Leftovers.
Nature: Calm (+ Special defense, - Attack).
EV’s: 252 Special defense / 129 Defense / 129 HP.
- Taunt
- Psychic
- Toxic / Will-o-wisp
- Attract / Thunderbolt
This is
a pretty rare set but the surprise factor is always good.
Suggested for trainers with some experience and patience.
Mean
look is another good move for anti-tank purposes, but I haven’t
seen one of these in a while so I think two movesets are enough
for Gardevoir.
Pros.
Excellent special stats give you some confidence to sweep for a
couple turns, but Alakazam is still a lot better than Gardevoir,
but it is very good in double battles.
Counters.
Fast
physical sweepers will cause great damage. Shadow claw and
crunch are usually fatal for Gardevoir. Weavile, Heracross or
Tyranitar are pretty good against Gardevoir.
Bottom line.
Next
one is Gallade, stay tuned guys and girls…
Rating:
3.3/5
Hope
you enjoyed.
