Hello Pojo Fans,

Reeshaddoll Wendi is one of the new support cards for the Shaddoll archetype that came out recently in their structure deck, and support for them is long overdue.

Flip effect like all Shaddoll Main Deck monsters. The choice of face-up or face-down gives you some attacking potential, but more than likely you’ll be putting the Special Summoned monster face-down so you can benefit from their attack. Regardless, it’s good to have options. Another Special Summon when Wendi hits the grave via an effect (Shaddoll Fusion, etc.). You no matter what should be getting a monster from your deck with her and thin your deck. She’s got decent stats and, while she’s a WIND and the WIND part of the Shaddoll Fusion lineup isn’t particularly strong, it is a target for the new Fusion monster of the archetype. Wendi gets you to monsters you need for whatever situation you are setting up or already in. Flipping her and getting to Shaddoll Beast could be big for card advantage, and until now you only could do this kind of stuff with Hedgehog or gathering stuff back from the graveyard.

Her being WIND helps with the new Fusion which we’ll cover, and she is still a Shaddoll so she can be used with any of the Fusions on the side that don’t require a certain Type that corresponds with the Fusion monster.

From one Attribute to another, we now got Reeshaddoll Wendi.

Wendi is a Level 3 WIND Psychic with 1500 ATK and 1000 DEF. Okish stats, good for Level 3, while Psychic with the Level gives you Emergency Teleport if you wish and WIND is a fairly weak Attribute that if not for the new Shaddoll Fusion it would be tied to the worst of the Shaddoll Fusions in Wendingo, but it’d still be a Shaddoll to use as a generic Shaddoll. The FLIP effect on Wendi lets you summon any Shaddoll from your Deck in face-up or face-down Defense Position. This is far better than yesterday, getting out a Hedgehog from the Deck to hopefully get a search of a Shaddoll Spell/Trap or Monster depending on what effect you use or Shaddoll Beast to either let you draw 2 and discard 1 or just draw 1 depending on how you use it. If you use it as Fusion Material instead of flipping it, you can still summon a Shaddoll from the Deck, though specifically in face-down Defense Position. However you use Wendi, you’re probably getting a monster out of the Deck, which can be insanely powerful. Neither effect lets you get another Wendi, but you get 1 Wendi effect per turn so I doubt that would of mattered too much. Wendi is a great option for the Deck to use for any of your Shaddoll Fusions, and it being WIND at least ties it to Invoked Raidjin, so it’s an easy multiple of for how strong it can be.

Art: 5/5 Once again an upgrade, this time of Ritual Beast Tamer Wen and it’s the one on top of Ritual Beast Tamer Zefrawendi, though Duel Terminal art is always great.

Reeshaddoll Wendi is a Wind/Psychic/Level 3 with 1500 attack 1000 defense.  Neither of those are particularly great, but 1500 attack on a Level 3 isn’t awful, and this Monster is of the Flip effect variety, as we saw yesterday.  The Flip effect today is much more useful than yesterday, however.  Letting you Special Summon a Theme Monster from the Deck (excluding herself) again in face-up or face-down Defense position.

The second effect here is again dependent on being sent to the Graveyard by a card effect (again from either player and not as a result of Battle) that lets you Special Summon a them Monster (again excluding herself) from the Deck in face-down Defense position.  She’s definitely a better player than yesterday.  More options on what to fetch having the whole Deck at your disposal.  A little stronger to boot too.

Art:  5/5  I love all of this.  She looks more like a Fairy, but the outfit is cute, I like the hair flowing back, and that background is pretty as well.
