I’m a sucker for phrases involving the word “season”, which might just be because of the seasons’ importance in English idioms in general, and thus am probably biased when assessing this particular Bloomburrow cycle. But Season of Gathering seems quite appealing, because at least two and possibly all of its modes have very competitive paw icon costs. I’m surprised you’re allowed to choose the first one as many as five times, because it will often end the game at numbers less than five. I’m impressed that the third one will give you Soul’s Majesty with a bonus, because that older card has long been good in casual decks. The thing that might cost this card points is that the second mode doesn’t synergize with the other two as well as the other two do with each other, but even then it will turn the game around for you sometimes. It’s also worth noting that green is the color that’s intrinsically best at ramping into high-end modal spells, so I think this card is well worth playing.
